Voices in Durham is a collaborative, community-driven storytelling initiative that connects journalism students with local organizations in Durham Region.

Through workshops, live events, and media productions, students amplify equity-deserving voices while addressing key community concerns, including criminal involvement, homelessness, mental health, and racism, as outlined in Durham Region’s Community Safety and Wellbeing Plan.
