This audio pak was recorded on the first day of CAJ Unplugged: Voices in Durham, a two-day conference focused on journalism and storytelling. The piece features Eva Ritchie discussing her personal and family history, specifically framing her lived experience as a “story of colonization”. The production is part of Indigenous Voices in Durham (IVID), a Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) project funded by CEWIL Canada. The initiative is designed to integrate formal curriculum with practical journalism.
