A sold-out Regent Theatre in Oshawa took to any empty space they could find to dance.
“The Bowie Lives” took the stage for an hour and a half of honouring the late David Bowie Saturday night. Lead singer, Michael Bell, only stopped performing occasionally to drink some water.
The Toronto native has been singing Bowie since the 1980s but brought his tribute show back after Bowie’s death in 2016.
Bell had his audience dancing and singing to Bowie’s greatest hits like “Let’s Dance” and “Rebel Rebel.”
More than 400 audience members gave Bell and the rest of his band a standing ovation to close out the night.
