After going missing more than two weeks, a Clarington teen was found last night by police.

15-year-old Arianna Brambrough was found in a Bowmanville residence by Durham Regional Police, according to their report.

Bambrough went missing Jan. 16 and last had contact with her family on Jan. 20. She was reported to have been spotted in the White Oaks area of Whitby and in Lindsay before being found, according to police.

Police say Bambrough has since been returned to her family “safe and sound.”

Police thanked the public and the media on the DRPS website for helping in the investigation.

There is no word on the reason for Bambrough’s disappearance at this time.
