There’s a new date and new location for Durham College’s appearance in the Ontario men’s rugby final.

Durham will take on Georgian in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) Men’s Rugby Championship Saturday, Nov. 17. The game will be played at Civic Fields No. 5 starting at 1 p.m.

Originally scheduled to take place last Saturday at Thompson Rugby Park in north Oshawa, the game was postponed after a sheet of ice froze over the field.

In their return to playing rugby at the OCAA level after an absence of 22 years the Lords finished with a 5-1 regular season record and after a playoff victory, have a six game winning streak leading into Saturday’s game.

They will play for gold this weekend against the Georgian Grizzlies, who won gold in the 2016-2017 season and bronze last year.
