The men’s baseball team at Durham College is preparing to host the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association Baseball Championship this weekend at Kinsmen Civic Memorial Stadium.
The top four teams in the OCAA will be competing in the championship: Durham, Humber, St. Clair and Fanshawe.
The Durham Lords finished with an 11-9 record, and kick off the tournament against St. Clair on Friday at 1:30 p.m.
St. Clair ended the season with a 19-1 record, but suffered their only loss in the last game of the season against the Lords, 3-2.
Depending on how the Lords do against St. Clair the team will either play at 4:00 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
The team’s lineup or starting pitchers have not been named for the game.
